ARRIFLEX D-21 & D-21 HD Update Recommendation and Notes

We recommend to update the ARRIFLEX D-21 & D-21 HD as soon as possible. Paket 1.16 is mandatory for all cameras with SN 1001 or newer, and recommended as well for all other cameras. It contains bug fixes and useful improvements.

The Software Packet 1.16 is designed for the ARRIFLEX D-21 and D-21 HD.

It consists of firmware for the D-21 and D-21 HD imaging engine, firmware and software for the E-Cover and firmware for the FEM-2. Please note that the firmware for the imaging engine, the firmware/software for the E-Cover and the firmware for the FEM-2 have to be updated separately.

To check which version of the imaging engine firmware is in the camera, look in the Video Menu under “Diagnostics - Status 2”. The Software/Firmware versions for the E-Cover can be checked in the camera left display service mode.
